Vaginal discharge is a combination of cells and fluids continuously comes through your vagina.
Normal vaginal discharge is not harmful it helps keep vaginal tissues healthy and protect them against infection and irritation. The color, amount and flow of normal vaginal discharge vary. It depends on the stage of your menstrual cycle.

- Brown and bloody
- Yellow and green
At the beginning and end of your menstrual cycle, a bit of white discharge is normal. But if this discharge becomes thick and flows increases then it’s not normal. You need to consult a doctor and should make treatment. This type of discharge may be a sign of infection or yeast infection.
Clear and watery:
It is normal to discharge clear and watery. It can come after a month also comes when you took heavy exercise and do some heavy work.
Brown and bloody:
Brown and bloody discharge are normal as well when it comes to the menstrual cycle. But if it comes when you had sex recently without protection, this could be the sign of pregnancy. If it comes during pregnancy it may be a sign of miscarriage.
Yellow and green:
A yellow or green discharge, when it becomes thick, or have a bad smell it is not normal. This type of discharge may be a sign of an infection called trichomoniasis. It commonly spreads through the sexual period.

Normal vaginal discharge is a sign of a healthy body. It is the way of cleaning dead cells from your body and protecting the vagina. When you’re stressed or use birth control pills it may result in the form of discharge.

The normal vaginal discharge does not need any treatment but when it comes constantly and heavy flow it is not normal and it should be treated.
